Your website is the front door to your online presence. You want users to know who you are and what you do. There are many things you could be doing wrong without knowing, and it’s costing you business. Here are four reasons why your website might need a redesign:

4 Reasons to Redesign Your Website

1. Your website is not optimized for mobile devices.

Everyone uses their smartphones and tablets to browse the web. Google gives priority to mobile-friendly sites, and with Google being the top search engine, if you haven’t optimized for mobile devices, you are missing out on prime search engine real estate, and it’s time for a redesign.

2. Your website is not responsive.

Responsive web design is all the rage – for good reason. It allows your site to function on multiple devices without the need for multiple versions. Why update two versions of your site when you can update once and you’re done?

3. Your website is too cluttered or too minimal.

Too much of a good thing is just as bad as not enough of a good thing. If users don’t know who you are by looking at your site, or they can’t find what they’re looking for easily, they will go elsewhere. Make sure you have enough information to draw them in and steer them where they need to go without leaving them floundering.

4. Your website is out-dated.

If your business has changed, your website needs a redesign to change with it. Does your site say you still repair widgets, but you haven’t repaired widgets since 2014? Out-dated information on your site can leave users confused or angry. Turn them around with current data.
